I would like to do a story on Intramural sports at LSC, primarily basketball which seems to be one of the most popular
I want to do a story on the Twilight Players. It'll be a reflection on how they did in the Play, as well as looking forward towards the spring musical.
I'm planning to talk to several LSC winter athletes(i.e. basketball players) about their plans for thanksgiving break. Some athletes may not be spending the holiday at home because they live too far away.
I'm planning on talking to Police and commuters about the dangers of driving in Vermont Winters. I will hopefully have statistics of crashes (included will be the amount of college aged drivers), and thoughts on driving on the roads in Vermont in the Winter.
Per the request of Nick Russo, I would like to write a profile piece on LSC Women's Soccer star Naomi White. I intend to interview the coach, another player, and Naomi herself...
-Phil Alexander, Group B
I am doing a story about the problems seniors are having with their program evaluations and what the administration has to say about it.
Phonathon follow up: how much money was raised, who was the top caller, etc.
I'm exploring the science of the LSC schedule.
I would like to do a story on once again the two political groups on campus. Those of you that don't know the Republican Club has been having some controversy in the weeks before thanksgiving with their entire executive board resigning as well as many members leaving. Its unclear if they even have enough remembers to remain a club. Also, I haven't heard anything about the Democrats club after the initial meeting so I would like to see where they are at as well. And of course see how both clubs are planning to continue existence.
George Hacking suggested I write about the Do's and Dont's of Winter activities that are allowed on campus. Things such as snowboarding, sledding, snowball fights, etc. I'm going to cover what you can do, what you can't, and the consequences of doing an activity that is not allowed.
